T & L Wood Products established in 1988.  Tom & Linda Clarke began operating their business independently out of a small basement level room within a large commercial building located in Duluth, MN. They started out making wood frames for a local eye clinic and slowly expanded by manufacturing ornamental concrete and memorial flower baskets.  Several local florists and greenhouses became their main accounts.  Over time, upon request, their product line grew.  The two of them earned very little but with strong determination and many hours of hard work they made the best of what they had for their four children.  

In 1993, Tom & Linda purchased an old abandoned building in Gary New Duluth.  With the help of their four children Tommy, Todd, Troy and Tami they made many major interior and exterior repairs on the building.  They cleaned up load after load of garbage and over grown brush.  Finally, they moved in and rearranged all of their tools and equipment in order to continue on with business.     

Tom & Linda's son, Troy " Pete" Clarke, became a part of T & L Wood Products.  Troy specializes in customized metal and wood art.  Several businesses and homes display Troy's work.  The time and effort Troy puts into his work most definitely reflects in the beauty of his art.  With an amazing combination of skill and talent Tom, Linda and Troy have created and developed many high quality, beautifully handcrafted pieces through the years.  They are living life to its fullest doing what they do best and truly enjoy each and everyday!
